You guys still around? Looking for the 517 squad 👀 💯
@@BigDsRc517 unfortunately I don’t ride like that anymore. Got a family now. But the squad still meets up
Clutch up in 3rd around 30 mph is safer because of stability
I'm 230, and have a tune and hordpower, yet at no point in any gear do I feel the ability to power up wheelie. , intimidating starting out the clutch ups but good video good advise thanks. 👌
You’re teaching people how to power wheelie
Honest review 😁😁👍
I watched this to see how easy it is to wheelie do that I don’t do it on accident. I’m used to dirt bikes(Yamaha WR500 and ktm 500exc-f). I appreciate the video! I love the idea of doing wheelies but my skill to consequence ratio would not be ideal. Getting my license in May and then buying a new MT-07(I keep vehicles for life). I subscribed to your channel. Thanks for being one of the people that helps new riders with helpful information.
People need to understand the clutch adjustment is not the same as suspension adjustments (made to taste) Its like chain tension. Youre essentially setting how much it separates the plates and you can make it slip or drag with the wrong adjustments. A dragging clutch will make gear changes feel really harsh. There is a set range and anything outside of that will be bad for the disks. If you can make your adjustments and stay within the 10-15mm freeplay range then more power to you
Yes I was the owner of black Chevy step side 454
Clutch up 2nd gear at 30mph
I dont think its a good idea to tell your viewers to pop a clutch in first gear, personally having one of theese its more than enough in first to just hit the gas, i sugest popping the clutch in 2nd. Also its way easyier to use 1 finger to pop the clutch so that you have more grip.
thank you bro slow motion realy help !!
I just bought my mt07 a couple weeks ago but I've just been doing power wheelies so far
my mt07 was scared a little bit when the first accidental wheelie occoured :D its realy high up, i accidentaly stomped the rear and hit my most precious limb:D nowadays i try to power wheelies to get me comfortable and its working, yesterday i was a bit hard on the gas from the light with my wife on the back and i was able to control the whole thing. She was scared a little bit, me to because she is on my back, but its ended a safe halfway up power wheelie trough 1st gear :D
I’m no expert but here’s an 18 minute long video on how to do wheelies. 🤦♂️
how tall are you? and is the bike comfortable.. I am 6'3" 240lbs
Covering the rear brake is nice advice, so is wearing full gear😎 Tshirt is for posers right?
Soundslike your a cool dude,....and humble,.... AND PROUD OF IT....LOL I have a v-strome with a 62+ wheelbase ,can do 120 mph. But i dont think that i would like to go over 60 mph. On such a short wheel base....p.s i am about to order a 2022 Grom for my 2nd r.v bike
just twist
Awesome explanation
Really good tutorial bro. So you don't literally pull up on the handle bars then huh?
No need in first or second gear!
so nice brother
Wouldn't buy this girl of you 😂 I know it was 2 years ago but if you're still riding same bike check the fork seals and frame for cracks. First one can be fixed (ASAP), second one means the bike is totaled.
This guy talks way too much. If one is not an expert don't talk like you are.
can i get better gas mileage following this method?
thx!
How did you adjust the clutch lever pull?
I dont own this bike, but there should be two adjustment points. Where the cable connects to the case(engine) and at the lever it's self. Watch a how to on RUclips so you don mess it up. Knowing to adjust your cable is very important.
Honestly this video is pretty bad advice. Don’t learn wheelies in first gear this guy can’t even wheelie himself!
Intenta no hablar , quiero escuchar el sonido de la moto y disfrutar el viaje
Ur gonna loop in 1st gear
ive watched this video over a thousand times!!!!
The technique you use with the clutch having it set out really far and using 2 fingers actually helps a lot i got my mt07 up in 3rd gear 4th or 5th try thanks
Balance point is usually whenever the forks are parallel with the ground
10mph, first gear, slam butt on seat, twist gas, don't let off until balance point
lmao.. good vid homie.... and yea man y'all could've got hit with a trafficking charge with them pills... those shits are no joke down here in south Florida.... man y'all were lucky.... lol... but keep on making vids bro.... ya gotta new sub.... salute!
I just started doing small pops on mine today. gradually gave it more gas. I thought I would shit myself but its really fun to pop wheelies on this thing. I guess knowing how to wheelie on my mountain bike helps a little bit with the balance.
thank you men i learn a lot
You shouldn't teach wheelies if you ain't even at BP yet.
I've been having trouble clutching up. I've gotten to the point where I literally drop the clutch at 6k rpm in second gear and the front doesn't come up an inch (going ~35 mph). Also, full throttle in first gear from a dig barely raises the wheel off the ground. To the point where I never need to modulate throttle when taking off, just lean forward a bit and there's no way the bike will wheelie in first. I module throttle while letting the clutch out, then I'm just pinned the entire way from 4k-redline in first with no lift. I'm 6'4'' about 180lbs in gear. Any tips? I'm about 75% stiff on the rear spring, maybe I should try going to 100%... I haven't had issues with a few dirt bikes over the past few years.
I have an m4 slip on with no tune and my bike will easily do a double backflip in first gear if I give it too much and I weigh the same as you. Try scooting your butt as far back as you can. Also you can try abruptly cutting the throttle so the front forks compress and then quickly get back on throttle and it should come up but I never have to do that in first. Also in second just give it more RPMs almost to redline if you must but I'm still learning clutch ups in second so I'm not sure.
@@ToxicF4TE Thanks for the tips. I can power up in first if I sit back and really try, but it's not very useful since I just run out of RPMs. I just had the impression that this bike wants to loop without clutching up, and that hasn't been my experience. I'll keep raising the RPM in 2nd little by little and see how that goes. Thanks again!
@@Carpythesharky No problem man, cover that rear brake and stay safe!
yo man any readon you stopped uploading? hope youre okay bro i really enjoy your vids.
Yeah something had to happen to him. All that work for years just to randomly stop? No notice. Hope he's still alive and well.
Great review! Thanks for sharing your video!

How is it balance point when you have to accelerate the whole time or it goes back down?
It's at the point where the bike feels kind of weightless. Like it takes a second for it to finally fall back down. Each bike'll be different for that balance point
Learning how to talk more like it
Yo man I’m 33 and never haven’t rode a bike yet but I taking the course and looking to buy a bike. My question is- mt03 or mt07 for first bike
Mt07
This is definitely helping me, I'm slowly getting there.
It's all about the feeling...
been out and about trying wheelies. scaring myself everytime the wheel went up, i watched this... first half, went out for a ride and comitted to giving more gas, i cant go long distances, but i can get the frontwheel up whenever i want now =) thanks to you i have the confidence to give that little extra gas and not get scared when you feel the front wheel lift of the ground
Holy shit dude, I live in Rochester too lol
Can I ride this as a beginner in b mode traction 2?
sommer brownivory if the 09 is your first bike you should lean towards an 07 but if you have experience then you should be fine on 09. The 09 is very touchy and if you have lack of experience you will get into an accident with it
nnoooooo wtf man never tell someone to start trying in first gear 😂😂 fucking hell
